Most initial consultations require 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours.
Bring your baby! Depending on your particular concerns, you may be asked to nurse your baby for observational purposes and/or bring your pump and any other breastfeeding aids or supplements you are currently using. Your partner or another support person is also welcome to attend.
After we get comfortable we will review your medical history and factors associated with your current condition, and document the initial evaluation.
A plan of care will identify aspects of your concerns together with suggestions and recommendations.
Relax! We will work around your baby's sleeping and feeding patterns and there will be plenty of time to ask questions and discuss your concerns. Please call in advance if you can't keep your appointment.
